You stand in line at your favorite coffee shop, peering toward the front. The old woman at the counter is searching through her purse, incredibly slowly, making everyone wait. You sigh, returning your gaze to the patterned floor. CC Jitters is always a busy place in the morning.
"Someone looks down this morning," a voice says near your ear. You jump, looking up to connect with Barry Allen's blue eyes. You quickly glance at the line behind you, expecting to see people glaring dangers at Barry. But most are either staring at the floor like you had been doing, or looking through their phones.
"You can't skip in line, Barry," you hiss, returning your gaze to him.
"I didn't. I already got my coffee," he holds up his cardboard cup, grinning.
You narrow your eyes. "I didn't see you. How'd you get it so fast?"
Barry shrugs. "I made it before the morning rush. Anyway, I saw you and thought I'd say hi."
"And gloat," you mumble.
"That too," Barry grins, conspicuously taking a sip. You roll your eyes, noticing the line cut down by one person.
"So, uh, how come you look down?" Barry asks, following you as you step forward. You shrug, avoiding Barry's gaze.
"Oh. Nothing. Just haven't had my coffee yet," you grin unconvincingly.
Barry raises his eyebrow. In truth, the reason you are upset is because of Barry. You have been friends for the past year, working closely with Caitlin, Cisco, and Doctor Wells. But it hadn't been long before your feelings developed into something more. Unfortunately, you just hadn't been able to muster the courage to say anything. Every time you thought you might, something came up. You gave up awhile ago.
One more person leaves the line. "You know you can tell me anything...right?"
You glance at Barry. He seems so sincere. Maybe.... "Barry, I-"
Barry's phone buzzes, interrupting you. He reads the call number and looks up at you with wide eyes. "I'm so sorry, I have to take this."
"It's okay," you smile reassuringly.
"Here, you can have mine," he smiles and hands you his coffee, before turning around and rushing out the doors.
You sigh, stepping out of the line gratefully. You take a sip of the coffee, noticing it's exactly what you were about to order.
You sigh again, walking past all the people still waiting in line, pushing yourself through the double doors and into the open street.
You check the email on your phone, seeing if you missed anything. You're too distracted to hear the yell in time.

“Barry, what’s wrong?”
“Hmm?” Barry looked up at you, shutting the book he was reading about quantum physics.
“Please stop pretending that I’m an idiot. I know that something’s wrong. You dash off practically every time we sit down to watch Doctor Who together, you’ve forgotten three of our dates in the past week, and, I don’t know, I feel like you’re avoiding me. I miss you. Did you…did you c

“If your not too busy could you do one where y/n gets turned into a small child by a witch and dean has to look after her until they kill the witch.”
“What the Hell are we supposed to do now?” Dean demanded.
“Watch your language around the child,” Sam teased.
Dean glared at his brother. “She’s not a child. She’s (y/n).”
Sam looked at you, now four years old and wandering aimlessly around the motel room, then looked back at Dean. “She’s (y/n) as a child.”
Dean groaned. “I repeat: w
